How to create a Restriction list

To create own restriction list

You have to login as an Administrator to be able to find "Lists of restrictions" list under Tools:

In order to add new list you have to click on "Show add new restriction list"

You have to enter a name for a list and a short name.

Add substances

To add substances and criterias to the restriction list you have to click on document image with magnifying glass Manage substances.

You can add single substance by clicking 'Add new substance' or import an Excel.xlsx spreadsheet with multiple substances.

Chemsoft accepts Excel files with extension .xlsx up to 4 columns (Substance name, CAS no, EC no, Remark).
Excel must include at least 2 columns, Substance name and CAS no or EC number. If no CAS no is given then EC number is required in 3rd column.

When you import a file Chemsoft will validate the list and warn if some information is missing.

Translate restriction lists

You can also translate the names of the restriction lists to different system languages    Manage translations.

With button "Edit" you can edit name and description for the restriction list.
