Product Status

Products SDS Status

Product status describes the status of the product safety data sheet (MSDS) for example, the product is no longer in the supplier’s assortment, if update is in progress, etc.

The Product Status field lets can be displayed both in the Chemicals List and in the Product List, as a column, for those users who need to see this information. The field is updated once a day. 

Product status is also visible on Product information page when you open product from a list.


Description of Product Statuses

1. OKSDS Is updated.
2. OK (Old but latest)Sld but supplier has informed there is no newer SDS available.
3. SDS Not requiredAccording to REACH product does not require SDS anymore.
4. Status missingInformation om status finns ännu inte tillgänglig från SDS-avdelningen.
5. Product is being updatedRegistration is ongoing.
6. Product is queuedProduct has been queued for updating but we have not yet received information from supplier.
7. Will not be updatedThere is no connection to SDS-Hub. Locally created own product. Product does not have Chem-ID and is not updated with automated procedures
8. RemarkProduct has remarks from SDS service. It could be supplier refuses to respond to our inqueries or has policy not provide SDS to SDS-Hub. There are various reasons for remarks. Basically SDS-Hub cannot update the SDS for you. You should contact your supplier and request updated SDS and provide it to SDS-Hub so it can be updated according to routines.
9. DiscontinuedProduct has been discontinued and no updated SDS available.
